Marina Orlova was born on a spring morning in the resort town of Pyatigorsk, March 25, 1986, into a family of intellectuals. Marina’s mother, Ludmila was a teacher of French and German and her father Victor was a musician (accordion).
Marina started to sing before talking. She had a unique low voice that is unusual for children. Already in early childhood her incredible musical talent became apparent. When she was three years old, Marina wrote her first song - "Lullaby" for herself. 20 years later this song was featured in the famous television series "Dear People".
